Territory veterans who have served in the armed forces, and who were receiving military pensions as of January
1, 1883
Information includes pensioner's name, pension number, post office address and county of residence, reason for
receiving military pension, monthly amount of pension, and date that pension was granted.
North
Dakota veterans who have served in the armed forces during the following conflicts:
World War I, 1917-1918
Information includes veteran's name, service number, whether
or not a registrant for the draft, date and place of birth, county of residence, parents' national origin if foreign-born,
occupation, date and place of enlistment, dates and names of units in which served, dates of promotion and rank
attained, dates and places served overseas, combat engagements, wounds received, date and place of discharge, rank
at time of discharge.
World War II, 1941-45
Information includes veteran's name, service number, date and
place of birth, county of residence, date and place of enlistment, theatre of overseas service, date and place
of separation from the service, rank at time of separation.
Korean War, 1950-53
Information includes veteran's name, service number, date and
place of birth, county of residence, date and place of enlistment, theatre of overseas service, date and place
of separation from the service, rank at time of separation.
Vietnam War, 1964-1973
Information includes veteran's name, date and place of birth,
county of residence, date and place of enlistment, theatre of overseas service, awards and decorations, date and
place of separation from the service, rank at time of separation. Because of the Privacy Act, the specific type
of discharge and the individual's service/social security number is not listed.

Philippine Insurrection, 1899
Mexican Campaign, 1916-1917
World War I, 1917-1918
World War II, 1940-1946
Korean War, 1950-1953
Vietnam War, 1964-1973
Information includes serviceman's name, grade, component,
service number, unit of last assignment, conflict in which served, date of death, cause of death, name of cemetery,
row, block, grave in which buried. Some of the information contained in these records is quite extensive, with
significant information about a veteran's military or naval service. Other information is relatively more limited,
with only the veteran's name listed in connection with a particular military conflict.
