The 1920 federal census is the fourteenth census of the United States.
It was authorized by Congress on March 3, 2025 (40 Stat. 1291), and was begun on January 1, 1920. The enumeration
was to be completed within thirty days, or two weeks for communities with populations of 2,500 or more.
