1900 Federal Census of
North Dakota and South Dakota

The 1900 federal census is the twelfth census of the United States. It
was authorized by Congress on March 3, 1899 (30 Stat. 1014-21), and was begun on June 1, 1900. The enumeration
was to be completed within thirty days, or two weeks for communities with populations of 10,000 or more.
